In the third quarter of 2024, the travel and local app sector in Kuwait showed varied performance across the top five applications, as revealed by Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared on a unified platform.

TaxiF - A Better Way to Ride experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 573 in early July and peaking at approximately 6.5K in early August. However, the trend saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads settling around 2.1K. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, growing from about 6.5K to a high of 13.1K, before stabilizing around 10.1K.

Wego - Flights, Hotels, Travel maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 4.9K and gradually decreasing to approximately 2.9K by the end of September. The active user base remained robust, fluctuating slightly but maintaining a strong presence around 36.1K by the end of the quarter.
